Microchip (MCHP) reported Q2 FY2025 earnings of $0.46 per share (versus $1.62 per share in Q2 FY2024), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.43 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $1.164 bln (-48.4% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.152 bln.
The company issued downside guidance for Q3 FY2025, seeing EPS of $0.25-0.35 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.46 and revenues of $1.025-1.095 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.18 bln.
Microchip also increased its quarterly cash dividend by 0.2% to $0.455/share from $0.454/share.
MCHP fell to $73.30 (-2.38%) in pre-market trading.
