Reuters reported that all 72 economists it surveyed October 22-28 expect the Bank of England to lower its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.75% at its November 7 meeting.
As for the central bank's December 19 meeting, 46 economists (or ~64% of all polled) predict no change in the BoE's Bank Rate and 26 (or ~36%) see another 25-basis-point cut.
