European Central Bank Governing Council member Martins Kazaks said on Friday that the pace of policy easing might need to be somewhat faster than previously thought.
However, the official noted that he doesn't see a case for interest rates to go below the neutral, adding that would require a weaker economic baseline and a substantial and permanent undershooting of the ECB's inflation target.
