The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 76
billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended October 11. This marked the
ninth straight weekly build in natural gas inventories.
Economists had foreseen a rise of 78 bcf.
The previous
week saw a jump of 82 bcf.
