The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories rose by 18 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended July 26. This marked the 17th straight weekly build in natural gas inventories.
Economists had forecast an increase of 31 bcf.
The previous
week recorded a gain of 22 bcf.
