European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde said on Tuesday that the ECB is very advanced on its disinflationary path.
The official added that inflation in the Eurozone is heading in the right direction but warned that she still sees a bumpy road for it [inflation] until the end of 2024.
In addition, Lagarde revealed that the ECB is very attentive to the services inflation and tries to figure out whether that pressure is due to permanent changes in the economy or spillovers that will eventually wash out.
Also, the ECB's chief acknowledged that the central bank is looking attentively at how markets react to political developments in France.
