The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas inventories jumped by 84 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended May 24. This was the
eighth straight weekly gain in natural gas inventories.
Economists had forecast
a surge of 77 bcf.
The previous
week saw an increase of 78 bcf.
