Home Depot (HD) reported Q1 FY2024 earnings of $3.63 per share (versus $3.82 per share in Q1 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.60 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $36.418 bln (-2.3% y/y), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $36.646 bln.
The company also reaffirmed guidance for FY2024, seeing EPS of +1% y/y to ~$15.26 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $15.32 and revenues of +1% y/y to ~$154.23 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $154.26 bln.
HD rose to $344.00 (+0.89%) in pre-market trading.
