Company news: American Airlines (AAL) quarterly results beat analysts’ estimates
American Airlines (AAL) reported Q4 FY2024 earnings of $0.86 per share (versus $0.29 per share in Q4 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.66 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $13.660 bln (+4.6% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $13.426 bln.
The company also issued downside EPS guidance for Q1 FY2025 of $(0.40)-$(0.20) versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $(0.04) and in-line EPS guidance for the full FY2025 of $1.70-$2.70 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.42.
AAL fell to $17.17 (-7.98%) in pre-market trading.
