Applied Materials (AMAT) reported Q4 FY2024 earnings of $2.32 per share (versus $2.12 per share in Q4 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.19 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.045 bln (+4.8% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.964 bln.
The company also issued in-line guidance for Q1 FY2025, seeing EPS of $2.11-2.47 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.27 and revenues of $6.75-7.55 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.24 bln.
AMAT fell to $170.50 (-8.33%) in pre-market trading.
