The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 35
billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended August 24.
Economists had expected a gain of 33 bcf.
The previous
week witnessed a jump of 35 bcf.
