Commenting
on U.S. July consumer price index (CPI) data, U.S. president Joe Biden said
that real progress is being made on inflation but “more work” is to be done to
lower costs for “hardworking Americans”. “Prices are still too high,” he added.
Biden also
stated that large corporations, which “are sitting on record profits”, “are not
doing enough to lower prices”.
