Boston Federal Reserve Bank president Susan Collins said on Friday she believes it will be appropriate to begin policy easing soon if data aligns with the Fed's expectations.
The official also noted she expects to see some easing over the next few years and stressed the timing and pace of rate cuts will be based on the data.
