Company news: Pfizer’s (PFE) quarterly results strongly beat analysts’ forecasts
Pfizer (PFE) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $0.60 per share (versus $0.67 per share in Q2 FY2023), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.46 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $13.283 bln (+2.1% y/y), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $12.961 bln.
The company also raised FY2024 EPS guidance to $2.45-2.65 from its previous guidance of $2.15-2.35, versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.36 and improved FY2024 revenue guidance to $59.5-62.5 bln from its previous guidance of $58.5-61.5 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $60.68 bln.
PFE rose to $31.09 (+1.20%) in pre-market trading.
