The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas inventories rose by 22 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended July 19. This marked the 16th straight weekly increase in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted an advance of 15 bcf.
The previous
week saw a build of 10 bcf.
