Delta Air Lines (DAL) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $2.36 per share (versus $2.68 per share in Q2 FY2023), slightly missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.37 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $15.407 bln (+5.4% y/y), slightly missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $15.448 bln.
The company also issued downside guidance for Q3 FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.70-2.00 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.04 and revenues of +2-4% y/y to ~$14.84-15.13 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $15.36 bln.
Delta Air Lines reaffirmed FY2024 EPS guidance of $6.00-7.00 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.58.
DAL fell to $43.26 (-7.68%) in pre-market trading.
