On Monday, European Central Bank Governing Council member Klaas Knot said he does not see a case for another rate cut in July. He added that, in his opinion, the next meeting that will truly be open for another rate cut will be in September.
The official also noted that he is comfortable with the progress in disinflation, the ECB's policy stance and current market expectations of future rate cuts.
