The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 78 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended May 17. This marked the seventh straight weekly gain in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted
a build of 84 bcf.
The previous
week witnessed an advance of 70 bcf.
