The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas inventories climbed by 92 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended April 19. This marked the largest increase in natural gas inventories since the week ended October 13, 2023
(97 bcf).
Economists had
forecast a jump of 87 bcf.
The previous
week saw a build of 50 bcf.
