Company news: Kohl's (KSS) posts mixed quarterly results

Kohl's (KSS) reported Q3 FY2024 earnings of $0.20 per share (versus $0.53 per share in Q3 FY2023), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.28 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $3.710 bln (-8.5% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $ 3.638 bln.

The company also issued downside guidance for FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.20-1.50 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.81 and revenues of down 7-8% y/y to ~$15.26-15.42 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $15.68 bln.

KSS fell to $15.90 (-13.3%) in pre-market trading.
