The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories decreased by 42 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended November 15. This was the first weekly drop in natural gas
inventories in 14 weeks.
Economists had predicted a rise of 5 bcf.
The previous
week saw an advance of 42 bcf.
