The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas inventories rose by 80 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended October 18. This marked the 10th straight weekly gain in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted a surge of 61 bcf.
The previous
week posted an increase of 76 bcf.
