American Express (AXP) reported Q3 FY2024 earnings of $3.49 per share (versus $3.30 per share in Q3 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.29 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $16.636 bln (+8.2% y/y), slightly missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $16.679 bln.
The company also raised its FY2024 EPS guidance to $13.75-$14.05, up from prior guidance of $13.30-$13.80, versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $13.62.
AXP fell to $280.01 (-2.02%) in pre-market trading.
