Company news: Delta Air Lines (DAL) posts mixed quarterly results
Delta Air Lines (DAL) reported Q3 FY2024 earnings of $1.50 per share (versus $2.03 per share in Q3 FY2023), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.52 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $15.677 bln (+1.2% y/y), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $14.646 bln.
The company also issued guidance for Q4 FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.60-1.85 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.76 and revenues of +2-4% y/y to ~$13.9-14.2 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $14.25 bln.
DAL fell to $47.50 (-6.55%) in pre-market trading.
