European Central Bank Governing Council member Peter Kazimir noted on Wednesday that it is considered a done deal in the media that rates should be lowered at the ECB's October meeting but he is not completely convinced that the central bank's policymakers should decide based on one good inflation number.
The official, however, stressed that he can’t rule out a rate cut next week but added that he believes it's crucial to make rate decisions based on the overall summary of information. "And we’ll have that key information in December,” he noted.
