Amazon (AMZN) reported Q1 FY2024 earnings of $0.98 per share (versus $0.31 per share in Q1 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.84 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $143.313 bln (+12.5% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $142.654 bln.
The company also issued downside revenue guidance for Q2 FY2024 of $144-149 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $150.2 bln.
AMZN rose to $178.56 (+2.03%) in pre-market trading.
