The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 7 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended March 15. This
was the first weekly build in natural gas inventories in 16 weeks.
Economists had predicted
a rise of 4 bcf.
The previous
week recorded a drop of 9 bcf.
