Bank of England's monetary policy committee Swati Dhingra noted on Monday that the UK no longer looks like an outlier for inflation among advanced economies.
The official also admitted that the recent consumer price inflation (CPI) outturns show no asymmetry in inflation unwinding, and suggested that the fall in services PPI appears to be slowing but probably due to erratic components.
However, Dhingra warned that risks to the outlook are uncertain and difficult to gauge, adding that the lack of reliable data hinders the monitoring process.
