U.S. annual nonfarm payrolls revised lower by 818,000 jobs
The U.S. Labor Department released its revisions to the U.S. labour market statistics for April 2023-March 2024. Given the adjustments, the U.S. economy created 818,000 fewer jobs than originally announced (2.9 million) in the 12 months through March 2024.
