PayPal (PYPL) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $1.19 per share (versus $1.16 per share in Q2 FY2023), solidly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.99 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.885 bln (+8.2% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.825 bln.

The company also issued upside EPS guidance for FY2024 of low- to mid-teens versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $4.18 or +9% y/y.

In addition, it increased share repurchase guidance to $6 bln from $5 bln due to stronger FCF generation.

PYPL rose to $63.07 (+7.01%) in pre-market trading.
