Company news: 3M’s (MMM) quarterly results strongly beat analysts’ expectations

3M (MMM) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $1.93 per share (versus $2.17 per share in Q2 FY2023), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.68 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $6.255 bln, strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $5.854 bln.

The company also raised EPS guidance for FY2024 to $7.00-7.30, up from its prior guidance of $6.80-7.30, versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.20.

MMM rose to $109.02 (+5.45%) in pre-market trading.
