The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 10 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended July 12. This marked the 15th straight weekly build in natural gas inventories.
Economists had forecast a rise of 28 bcf.
The previous
week witnessed a surge of 65 bcf.
