Company news: Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) quarterly results beat analysts’ expectations

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $0.42 per share (versus $0.52 per share in Q2 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.39 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.204 bln (+3.3% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.824 bln.

The company also issued in-line guidance for Q3 FY2024, seeing EPS of $0.43-0.48 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.47 and revenues of $7.40-7.80 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.44 bln.

For the full FY2024, the company guided to EPS of $1.85-1.95 versus its prior estimate of $1.82-1.92 and analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.88. Also, it raised FY2024 revenue guidance to +1-3% y/y in constant currency from +0-2% y/y in constant currency, which is not comparable to analysts’ consensus.

HPE rose to $20.11 (+14.26%) in pre-market trading.
