European Central Bank Governing Council member Martins Kazaks said on Monday he believes the ECB's policy easing cycle needs to be cautious and gradual, and the policymakers should not rush.
The official also noted that it’s quite likely that June will be the time when the ECB starts the rate cuts. "After June, going forward," Kazaks added, "let’s see again the data."
Also, the policymaker admitted that, in his opinion, clear forward guidance is still not a good policy solution, given the high uncertainty.
