UK's PM Sunak repeats that general election in Britain will be held in the second half of the year

The UK Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak repeated that a general election in Britain will be held in the second half of the year. "I think that's absolutely right because you can see the economic plan is working," he added. 

At the same time, Sunak ruled out the possibility of the election in January next year.

28 January 2025 is the latest possible date the general election in Britain must be held.
