The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories declined by 36 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended March 22.
Economists had forecast
a fall of 28 bcf.
The previous
week saw an increase of 7 bcf.
