The
latest report from Spain's Ministry of Industry and Tourism revealed that
business confidence in the country worsened in March.
According to the report, the Business Confidence
Index fell to -5.4 points in March from an unrevised -4.5 points in February.
This was the first drop in four months and indicated that businesses’ perceptions
remained pessimistic for the 21st straight month.
